Emotional support for women after heartbreak

A place to land when everything inside you has come undone.

Grounded emotional support for highly sensitive women navigating heartbreak, separation, divorce, or deep identity change, so you can rebuild self-trust, emotional safety, and steadiness from within.

When heartbreak impacts you

Heartbreak is not only emotional.

For highly sensitive women, the end of a relationship can affect your sense of safety, identity, rest, confidence, focus, and connection to yourself.

You may find yourself:

  • replaying conversations late into the night
  • emotionally flooded one moment and numb the next
  • unable to rest even when exhausted
  • questioning your own judgement
  • struggling to recognise yourself outside the relationship
  • carrying shame for not moving on fast enough

Modern life often tells women to stay productive, stay positive, stay strong, and quietly carry on. But heartbreak does not work like that.

Grief changes the nervous system.
Loss changes the body.
Emotional overwhelm changes how safe life feels inside of you.

This is not weakness. It is what happens when someone has been carrying too much, for too long, without enough support, safety, or space to truly fall apart and heal.

What is quietly true

Some of this you may not have said out loud to anyone. You do not need to explain it perfectly. You do not need to justify why this hurts.

What you are carrying is real. And it makes sense that after heartbreak, grief, betrayal, separation, or profound change, you may feel deeply disorientated, no longer fully recognising yourself, your life, or the ground beneath you.

What you are carrying is heavy. And you were never meant to carry it all alone.

What it can feel like

01
Not recognising yourself

Looking in the mirror and meeting a woman you no longer fully know. Outside the relationship, the role, the routine, or the life that once held you.

02
A quiet, constant ache

An undercurrent that does not fully leave. Some days louder. Some days softer. Always there beneath the surface.

03
Grief & turmoil without a shape

Mourning the person, the future you imagined, and the version of yourself who believed in it. All at once.

04
The 3 a.m. hours

Waking in the dark with a mind that will not soften and a body that has forgotten how to fully rest.

05
Holding everyone, held by no one

Carrying the children, the responsibilities, the appearances, the emotional labour, while quietly wondering who is holding you.

06
Losing trust in yourself

Replaying the signs. The moments you stayed. The things you ignored. Questioning your own knowing.

A human, not a method

I’m Mellanie.

I support highly sensitive women navigating the emotional aftermath of heartbreak, separation, divorce, and profound life transition. My work integrates emotional support, nervous system awareness, relational presence, breathwork, and compassionate self-reclamation.

I am not here to rush your healing. I am not here to make you more productive, impressive, or emotionally fixed.

I am here so you no longer have to abandon yourself just to survive what you are going through.

This is relational, human work. Slow conversations. Honest presence. A space where your grief, anger, confusion, exhaustion, tenderness, numbness, and overwhelm do not need to be hidden or cleaned up before you are worthy of support.

Because healing does not begin when women finally have it together. Often, it begins the moment they no longer have to carry everything alone.

My story

Tell me, love…

What kind of support would feel right?

Choose the place that sounds most like where you are today.

The shapes self-protection can take

These are not personal failures.

After heartbreak, the nervous system often adapts in quiet survival patterns. You may recognise yourself in:

They are intelligent adaptations formed in periods of emotional overwhelm, grief, fear, abandonment, or prolonged stress.

And with support, awareness, and safety, they can begin to soften.

Ways we can walk together

Wherever you are, there is a place to begin.

From women I’ve coached

“I’ve been with Mellanie for 16 months now. I couldn’t get past re-opening the wounds, and I was extremely anxious all the time. I now have so much understanding and can finally put the past to rest. I’ve now met a new partner and my future feels incredibly liberating.”M. · London
“I honestly feel so seen and guided in a way that helps me breathe out again. She simply meets you exactly where you are. So much in me is feeling lighter.”V. · Netherlands
“I felt deeply disorientated. I’m returning to myself again, slowly, gently, and Mel keeps grounding me. Life is now on my terms, and I have so much more understanding about who I’ve been, but I’m feeling hopeful in who I’m now becoming too.”A. · Berlin
